About

Built by someone who ran the sprints

One product, one builder, one clear purpose: give Scrum teams the honest forecasting layer they've always been missing.

Why this exists

Sprint planning shouldn't be a rebuilding exercise

Most teams arrive at sprint planning without a clear picture of what they can realistically deliver. Velocity lives in Jira. The team calendar lives in HR. Focus factor lives in someone's head. Every planning session starts by rebuilding those numbers from scratch — usually in a spreadsheet that's out of date.

All Story Points is the calm middle layer: one screen with a calibrated forecast range, full capacity visibility, and a confidence score you can actually defend. It doesn't replace your tracker — it sits on top of it and answers the one question sprint planning always circles back to: how much can we honestly commit to?

A feedback loop, not just a dashboard

A forecasting tool without a retrospective is just a calculator. All Story Points closes the loop: enter sprint data → get a forecast range → review what happened → understand the gap → improve calibration over time.

Founder · Solo developer

I've spent years in the world of corporate IT — as a developer early on (including at Saatchi&Saatchi London), then transitioning into Senior Project Manager and Scrum Master roles. I've facilitated more sprint ceremonies than I can count and watched the same forecasting pain repeat across every team.

All Story Points is my answer to that pain. I designed and built the entire product — Fastify backend, Drizzle ORM schema, SvelteKit UI, and the statistical forecasting engine — with AI as a collaborator. Every product decision reflects first-hand experience running sprints, not theory.

Senior Project Manager Scrum PMI / PMBOK practitioner

Scrum

Scrum is the main delivery framework this product is built around — and one that many practitioners, myself included, consider the best approach for iterative software teams. Every product decision, from retrospective design to anomaly detection, reflects how Scrum actually works in practice.

PMI / PMBOK methodology

Project management shaped by the PMI discipline — structured thinking on scope, risk, and schedule that complements Agile rather than opposing it. PMBOK rigor meets Scrum adaptability.

Principles

Honest forecasts, not false precision

Every forecast is a range with a confidence score. The product refuses to manufacture certainty it cannot statistically back up. A range with a stated variance beats a single optimistic number every time.

Feedback loops, not just dashboards

A forecasting tool without a retrospective is just a calculator. The estimation retrospective is what makes the product better over time — forecast vs actual, sprint over sprint, permanently.

Augment, don't replace

Keep your Jira, Linear, or ADO. All Story Points is the focused forecasting layer that sits on top — never a replacement for your existing workflow. One tool, one job, done properly.

Team-relative, always

All metrics compare a team to its own history. Story point scales are never universal — cross-team comparisons are misleading by definition, and individual attribution violates Scrum's intent.

Privacy by default

This is not a tool for storing sensitive data. Team members only need a name — or better, a nickname. Nothing personal, nothing confidential. Keep it light.

Dense without being loud

The UI carries significant information density in a calm, structured layout. Every metric earns its place on screen. Colour signals meaning — it is never decoration.

Speed for repeated actions

Calendar entry, sprint data logging, and anomaly marking are done constantly — every sprint, every team. The UX must make these feel fast. Friction kills habits.

No unnecessary features

Backlog management, Kanban boards, and task creation are permanently out of scope. This product does one thing — sprint forecasting and estimation health. It does that one thing well.
